A day of love when everyone was trying to enjoy Valentine’s Day in their own way.
The day was calm just like any other day until I open my facebook account. I was busy with scrolling my phone and suddenly got the shocking news that there is an attack in district of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir (India) , where 42 people were killed.
At least 40 CRPF personnel were killed and five others injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir when a Jaish-e-Mohammed suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama disrict.

People say life is unpredictable, but taking a life cowardly by a suicide bomber is something more than vile. Heart cry hearing this brutal news.
The bomber was surely dead years ago when he entered in such brutal group. He might have left no love for his family but the soldiers he killed were having families waiting for their call or return at home.
Mother lose his brave boy whom she had raised for protecting the nation.
The father is still in grief but courageous enough to send his other son to fight.
A 3 year old son still does not know that his father is no more.
The baby girl who got her life just a month ago was waiting for her father to meet in person but now she will never be able to,
A wife desperately waiting for her husband’s call on Valentine’s day, broken with tears as she heard the news.
A soldier was so destroyed by the bomb, identified by his engagement ring.
Many more heartbreaking stories unsaid and unknown of fallen sons, fathers, brothers, husband, friends and of soldiers who bore the burnt of protecting us.
Yes they were protecting us. Today we Indians are full of anger and demanding for revenge. But will it last for a long time.
Here we are sad, angry etc. we will mourn over the death for a few days, put status and DP , complain about other people who will not do so , conduct candle march and discuss it for a few more days. Then things will become past just like 26/11 Mumbai attack or 16/12 Nirbhaya case. But the families who lost their loved ones will never be able to forget this nightmare even a single day for rest of their life. They will not settle their breathe until the culprit pays off.
But this time we too need to last our anger and frustration till our brave soldiers get justice. Let’s think of this issues above political, religious and others. It’s time to get united and demand for justice.
Let’s hope for the best.

May our brave brothers’ soul RIP and their families find peace.
Stay blessed.
Anjali.
